What a fantastic race season! We are all having a great time, staying healthy and skiing strong. Both our boys and girls varsity ski teams are off to an amazing start. We are training effortlessly with hopes of making it to the State Championships. Every one of our racers has significantly improved since our first day on the snow. As you all know, we achieved podium placement in all three slalom league races. Not an easy accomplishment, but a true result of hard work and team effort.
The Sparta girls are presently ranked 4th in the State and the boys are ranked 7th. The top 8 of 20 NJ high school teams will qualify for the State Championship the second week of February. Here are the team standings after three conference races: Varsity Girls: 12 Wins 4 Loss | Varsity Boys: 13 Wins 5 Loss.
With only 2 conference races left and just 2 weeks to go, I expect everyone to be present at every practice and race. Your commitment and dedication to this team will soon be rewarded and hopefully, we will be competing at the NJISRA State Championships.

I want to thank all of you for your efforts and for making this season a success. Thank you for getting your kids to practice on time and being there to pick them up after a tiresome day of training. Thanks for supporting your kids and sending them to practice ready to give it they're all. Your love and support are what make our racers thrive. Our next race is this Friday, Jan 29th at 3 pm.
