Ski Team Dryland Training / Health Forms 2019
Greetings Sparta Ski Team,
Dryland Training will begin Monday November 18, 2019.
We will meet in the high school cafeteria at 2:50pm and move outside to start our conditioning. Please dress appropriately for the weather (layers, hats, gloves) and bring plenty of water.
If there is a reason you must miss practice, please notify me a minimum of 3 hours before practice via Remind text or email. If you are competing with a fall sport that is still active, you are excused from practice; just let me know in advance.
Dry-land training is mandatory and all health forms must be submitted in order to practice.
As of today, most of our racers are NOT cleared to practice!
In order to practice, you must :
- Make sure your physicals are current and not expired !
- Submit the Health History Update form to the school nurse
- Watch the Opioid Video found in the student portal section of Genesis.
Once all three items above are satisfied you will be cleared to train.
To check your status, login to your racer portal and view your status on the Welcome Racers page. If you are cleared to train, you should see a green box with a check-mark and the words "Cleared To Train".
If you are not cleared by Monday 11/18 you will NOT be able to attend dryland practice with the ski team. If you have turned in paper work but are not cleared please contact the high school nurse. If you hand in paper work on Monday please come to practice with a note from the nurse that says you are cleared to practice.
