This season has been amazing! Our girls rocked it at States, securing 5th place overall and the title of Small Public School Champion. And our Sparta Varsity Boys finished strong in 6th place! Our JV Girls also nailed it with a podium finish at JV State Championships! Bravo Spartans!

Ski racing is an exhilarating journey filled with both triumphs and challenges. We should celebrate our accomplishments and the unforgettable season we've had together.
This season has been extraordinary, even with the challenges we faced at States, where the girls proudly secured 5th place overall and earned the title of Small Public School Champion. Meanwhile, the Sparta Varsity Boys finished strong in 6th place overall.
Although the teams didn't reach the podium at States, the outstanding performances of the Sparta Boys and Girls Ski Teams throughout the season deserve recognition. Their passion and determination have been evident in every race, and they have truly set a high standard for excellence in high school alpine racing. Congratulations to our varsity athletes for their great effort in pursuit of the championship podium.
Congratulations to our JV girls ski team for capturing podium 3rd at the JV State Championships.
At the 2025 Race Of Champions held at Mountain Creek on Feb 26th, our six "All-League" athletes raced liked Champions. Bringing home the medals was Ryan Grycuk with 8th place in Slalom & 9th in Giant Slalom; and Pat Fitzsimmons with 9th place in the Slalom event. Ryan Grycuk made NJ 1st Team All-State, Pat Fitzsimmons 2nd Team All-State, and Finn Kowalski 3rd Team All-State.
Best of luck to Sparta racers Ryan Grycuk, Pat Fitzsimmons, Finn Kowalski, and the entire 2025 NJ State Ski Team at the Eastern Regional High School Championships at Cannon Mittersill, Franconia, New Hampshire, from March 6th to 9th.
